a last minute halloween

Halloween, a favorite holiday in our house, is just days away and I haven't finalized my costume. Neither has HotMomma. I suggested she dress up as either a knocked up nun or French maid. I'm leaning towards the French maid, but either way she'll draw attention to herself. If she can't pull off either of those she can always wander the neighborhood as a Filipina Juno.

Since the baby boy is set to arrive soon I'm considering dressing up as a bloodied OB/GYN. I have some scrubs, so all I have to buy is some fake blood and perhaps some forceps and a fake baby to bloody up as well. However, since we're not going to any grown up parties this year -- instead taking Z-Dub for a little trick or treating -- I think it might be a little too morbid. I may have to think of something a little more kid friendly.

What are you dressing up as?

As for Z-Dub, his costume is ready and waiting. I can't wait to show off pictures of him as his current favorite masked superhero. Hopefully he'll wear it. He's been refusing to try it on again. I think if I tell him it's pajamas he'll go for it.
