adieu to montreal

We had another eventful day in Montreal today. It included a trip to Le Biodôme de Montréal and Jardin Bontanique de Montréal, the second largest botanical gardens in the world. It was so big that we only saw about 15 percent of it. We spent most of our time in the Chinese and Japanese gardens. We had an outdoor lunch on the grounds. It was a pleasant day, but exhausting with all of the walking. Later we went back down to Vieux Montreal for some souvenir shopping and ate some dinner on a third floor outdoor terrace overlooking the old port. On the way back to the Metro station, we wandered the small Chinatown area. By the time we made it back to our hotel at around 8 p.m. our feet hurt.

Now we're getting some much need rest as we prepare for our reluctant departure tomorrow. We'd like to stay another day, but we miss Z-Dub way too much.
